What a cool place! The nature centre itself was closed, but enter through the gate on the side. Nature reserve with an incredible six- story tree house (which would have been perfectly terrifying at Halloween). To get to the tree house, walk by and past the animals behind the centre, and keep following the trail for a couple of minutes. It's very well hidden in the trees. Incredible how they made it - well done to the construction team!! So fun with options to climb up ladders or take stairs at each level. The animals seemed well cared for, there was an owl, two red foxes, Turkey vulture, etc. Great place for a picnic or walk through the forest. Loads of cute chipmunks scurrying around! (Apologies for any motion sickness watching the hand held video - it shows from the top climbing down to the entrance of the tree house)

Lodge was closed (for the season) when I went. They have multiple trails. I walked the trail behind Lodge to see their enclosed animals then to the TreeTops treehouse. There is also Dennison Falls next to the treehouse as well. Very cool

A great free trip to see some amazing animals and get to spend time with family! It’s informative and has lots of great resources to help people understand what’s happening around them with the wildlife!

What a neat place! I bet it’s so much fun during the warmer seasons too. The animals were cute to see. The treehouse is a very fun sculpture and would be a lot of fun for all ages. It’s free to visit so definitely check it out if you’re visiting Ithaca!

A cool place to visit. The treehouse is quite a wonder, and the animals are quite interesting. The fields are beautiful, and the beehives are cool. It has the potential to be a great place, however, it seems to have gone downhill in the last few years. Upon my visit, it seemed quite understaffed. The inside of the building was dirty and water jugs were lacking cups and seemed unsanitary. In the raven cage, there was a lot of random garbage. Also, a fox accomplished quite a hole trying to escape.

The nature center was closed but you could still walk through the trails out back. We enjoyed seeing some of the injured animals they are taking care of and they have an impressive tree house! We enjoyed this as a couple and I’m sure kiddos would enjoy it too!

Open or closed (the lodge, not the grounds) this place is magical. The treehouse alone is worth the trip. The live animals (foxes, raven, hawks) are a bonus.
